This is a sosomal storage diseases which result in improper carbohydrate metabolism. The brain is particularly affected by this, so the major symptoms of all of these diseases are neurological. These symptoms are usually noticeable by at the age of 9 to 12 months and typically include loss of vision, walking difficulties, loss of balance, head tremors and vomiting and get more severe o ver time.
