The crd3 (cone-rod dystrophy 3) segreagtes in trhe Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. The disease tends to sahow around 3 years of age and progresses to end-stage over several years. Cone-rod dystrophies are severe hereditary retinal diseases characterized by primary dysfunction and loss of cone photoreceptors accompanying or preceding that of rods. The typical age of clinical onset in affected humans ranges from early to late adulthood;
